Rules for buying a digital Geo Game ticket, using the edit link and game link, and exercising cancellation rights.
Terms and Conditions (AGB)
These terms apply to purchases of digital Geo Game tickets via dalum.de. The provider and contract partner is Christian Einhaus, Am Vogelpohl 5, 49744 Geeste, Germany, email: info@dalum.de.
Description of services and conclusion of contract
Through dalum.de you purchase a digital ticket code with a edit link. The edit link lets you create or edit a GPS-based route with a final target, optional intermediate targets, tasks, messages, quiz/secret code and final final message. The presentation on the website is not yet a binding offer. By clicking the payment button, you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded once the payment has been confirmed via Stripe and we provide the ticket code and edit link by email. There is no postal delivery. The edit link is your private editing access. The game link or QR code is intended for the recipient or playing group. When the game link is opened for the first time, start data and progress may be set; creators should therefore not open it for testing. All prices are final prices. Because of the German small-business rule under section 19 UStG, VAT is not shown.
Customer duties
Please enter a reachable email address and check both inbox and spam folder. Keep the ticket code, edit link and game link safe, and do not pass the edit link to the recipient. You are responsible for the places and content you choose. Targets may only be placed in safe, legally reachable, publicly accessible or expressly permitted locations. Dangerous places, private property without permission and unlawful, insulting or rights-infringing content are not allowed. Players need a smartphone with internet access, a browser and location permission. Traffic rules, house rules, weather conditions and personal safety always come first on site.
Liability
I am liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to the typical foreseeable damage. Statutory defect and warranty rights, especially for digital products, remain unaffected. I cannot guarantee GPS accuracy, mobile data connections, end devices, map tiles, Stripe or the actual condition of the places you choose where these are outside my control.
Dispute resolution and governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you habitually reside remain unaffected. Statutory places of jurisdiction apply to consumers. To the extent legally permitted, the place of jurisdiction for merchants and legal entities under public law is the provider’s registered office. I am neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
Cancellation policy
This cancellation policy applies to consumers purchasing a digital Geo Game ticket, unless the right of withdrawal has expired because immediate digital delivery was expressly requested.
Withdrawal period and consequences
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Christian Einhaus, Am Vogelpohl 5, 49744 Geeste, Germany, email: info@dalum.de, by means of a clear statement of your decision. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice before the withdrawal period expires. If you validly withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed; no fees will be charged for the refund.
How to exercise your right
A clear email to info@dalum.de is sufficient. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. If possible, include the email address used for purchase and the ticket code so we can assign the order more quickly. We will confirm receipt by email.
Expiry of the right for digital content
The Geo Game ticket is provided as digital content or a digital service. During checkout, you are therefore asked separately whether you expressly request that the ticket code and edit link are provided immediately before the withdrawal period ends, and whether you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once performance begins. Immediate delivery is triggered and documented only after you actively give this confirmation. Performance begins when the ticket code and edit link are sent; the right of withdrawal then expires under the statutory rules for digital content.
